I've read all three books in the series and have thoroughly enjoyed them. The premise is interesting, the adventures of a down-on-his luck earthling who ended up aboard a ship with stern but hot captain and his ragtag crew. But what will be immediately apparent to any reader is how well Christine Wright, well, writes. The narrative unfolds beautifully and I am sure will immediately captivate any reader. Ms. Wright is a skilled and engaging storyteller with a flair for comedic writing. The tongue-in-cheek perspective was written with elegance and much creativity. There is nothing pedestrian about this author's writing style. Every character is fully conceptualized. My favorite is the ship's doctor. The notes he takes and observations he makes when Del, the main character, gets pregnant is worth several readings just to savor the clever and absolutely hilarious way the author phrased her statements.This is one of only a few set of books that made me laugh our loud on practically every page. I read the first novel with my Kindle Unlimited but ended up buying the first book immediately after completing it and then purchased next two books in the series directly.
I am sure I will be re-reading all 3 books very soon. This book deserves a wider exposure! I cannot wait for the author's future releases.

This story would have been so much better with better editing. The author seems to be confused with the use of "taught" instead of "taut" and "barley" instead of "barely", and many other such instances. A little more time and care would have made reading much more enjoyable.
This is a must read to finish this series, or is it a led into a great many spinoffs. Christine has yet again written a fabulous read.
Del and Quinn finally had their babies, plenty of unexpected happenings to keep the reader turning the pages. Their extended family and friends did not disappoint and have left openings for a great many other books.
I am hoping for many books to come from this author keep up the good work.

What a wonderful story, loved every moment. From the things said, to the hilarious one liners, to the family dynamics. Can't tell you how often I stopped and was laughing at Del's antics. Would love to hear more on Braxx and Hastor, and Brync and Kai. Thank you for your writing!
This is a 3 volume series. It is not a 'stand alone' book. So, if you haven't read the first two volumes, this book would make very little sense. But, figuring it out as a 3 volume set and having read the first two volumes, this 'ending volume' was great. I WOULD NOT give it a 1 star had I not read the first volume. GREAT SERIES !!!
Good gay sci-fi. The authors' writing was ok, and the characters she creates are Ok and basically believable. But... what the heck happened to book 2??? You can't buy it in print!! plus it looked to be a second thought, but i was disheartened by not knowing what happened between book 1 and book 3! All in all, this book was an Ok ending to the series.
I read this trilogy in less than two nights. It was a glorious journey and truly grew. I could almost say that Book 3 was my favorite, although Book 2 was great as well. I even cried at the end because everything just fell into place. Christine Wright did amazing work with these characters, and I hope to read more of her divine work with m/m romances in space!
I loved this whole book series. You really need to read them all and in order to understand the characters and world. I'm not big on mpreg story lines but, the rest of the book made up for that, if you're like me.
I love how there are different stories from some other main characters woven into this book and the previous one. As in the other books, it's a bit risque' but, surprisingly it's softened by humor, or kindness or in some other way. I liked it more than I should have I think LOL.
Love the characters. Love the universe the author created (especially the sentient trees). Love her unique writing style. I really wish this series could go on forever! Love it. You're really missing out if you skip this series. Just sayin'.
